Gender Specialist:

Education and Expertise

• Master’s degree in social sciences or Gender Studies, or related field.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience and proven track record of competence in gender balanced development, and gender mainstreaming in the areas of poverty reduction, good governance and crisis prevention
• Proven ability to design and facilitate and integrate gender related development interventions

Skills and Training

• Fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu and oral proficiency in Pashtu.
• Excellent report writing skills and understanding of the current government policies
• Excellent networking and partnering skills with a demonstrated successful resource mobilization record
• Available to travel to FATA, Peshawar and other regions of KPK
• Strong knowledge of computers and software (MS Word, MS Excel)
